“BUSA Academy Seniors Play Their Way to College Soccer!"

The BUSA North U9 Girls Breakers won theTrussville United Classic in the U-9 Girls age group.  The girls won an exciting game in the final moments of over time to bring home the championship.  Congrats to Coach Cook and Coach Joehl,  and the girls for a great weekend!

BUSA Teams did very well last weekend at the annual Emerald Coast Classic, in Destin, FL.  The BUSA 98 North Red Girls, pictured above, finished as finalists in the 2010 event.  Congratulations to Coach Katie and the girls for a great weekend of soccer.

Earlier this month the BUSA 96 Elite Girls traveled to Cincinnati, OH for the Cincinnati United Elite Invitational.  In pool play, the team faced 3 top Ohio teams and finished first in their bracket.  In the championship match, the girls faced the highly ranked Michigan Gators.  Down 0 to 2 in the second half, the girls rallied back to at 4:3 victory with their last goal coming with only minutes left in regulation. 

Coach Jason Lockhart described the game as “the most exciting match the team’s had so far this year”.  Congratulations to the 96 Girls and Coach Lockhart on their great showing!!

  Congratulations to the BUSA 99 North Red Girls for their 2nd place finish this weekend at the 2010 Harpeth Invitational Tournament. The team went undefeated in pool play in route to the finals where they ran out of steam against a tough side from Illinois.

Congrats to the 99 South Red Girls, coached by Mark Wallace for finishing 2nd place in the 2010 Mississippi Fire Invitational!   We are very proud of the girls and their accomplishments and wish them the best the rest of the spring season!

The BUSA 98 South Blue Girls team took home first place honors this past weekend at the Mississippi Fire Spring Invitational Tournament.  The girls went undefeated on the weekend in route to the championship.  Congrats to the girls, Coach Adam and Coach Jon for a great weekend of soccer!

Two BUSA 93 Elite players have been named to the TOP DRAWER Top 100 Players to Watch List!

12-Player BUSA 93 Elite Girls Captures PUMA Region III Championship

Disproving the theory that there’s strength in numbers, the BUSA ’93 Elite Girls defeated five regionally ranked teams en route to capturing the PUMA Region 3 Championship March 5-7 in Smyrna, TN. 
 

Congratulations are in order for the BUSA 94 Elite Spring Girls team and their 2nd place finish at the PUMA Region III Championships in Smyrna, TN this past weekend.  This team comprised of BUSA 95 and BUSA 94 Elite players went undefeated in group play, in route to the finals where they lost 2-1 to a very strong Carmel United team from Indianapolis.  These girls had a great weekend, and got to play against some great competition!

Congratulations to the 96 Elite girls and Coach Jason for their 2nd place finish at the Concorde Fire Challenge Cup.  The girls had strong run to the finals and we are proud of their accomplishments.  Keep up the good work!

The BUSA 93 Elite Spring Girls Team won the Score at the Shore Tournament in Tampa, FL over President’s Day Weekend.  The girls went undefeated and were the only team in the entire tournament to not allow a goal in their six games.  Congrats to the team and Coach Andrew for a great weekend!

BUSA Elite teams captured seven of the eight Alabama Youth Soccer Division I Powerade State Cup Championships

The BUSA 99 North White girl’s team coached by Ivy Duggan finished in 2nd place at the annual Sugar N’ Spice Tournament outside Atlanta, Georgia this past weekend.  The girls played with great spirit and determination on their path to the finals against some strong teams.  Congrats to the girls, and to Coach Ivy for their success this past weekend and through the entire fall season!

The BUSA United U9 Boys won the Governor's Cup tournament (blue division) this past weekend. Congrats to these players and coaches for a job well done!

Congrats to the 95 Premier Girls and Coach Meredith as they finished in 2nd place at the Crossroads of the South Tournament in Jackson, MS.  Congrats to these girls on a great weekend of soccer!

The 97 Elite boys, coached by John Markey finished as tournament runner-up this past weekend in Jackson, MS at the annual Crossroads of the South Tournament.  Along the way the boys faced stiff competition, including the Louisiana State Champs to which they beat in the semi-finals.
