Congratulations are in order for the BUSA 94 Elite Spring Girls team and their 2nd place finish at the PUMA Region III Championships in Smyrna, TN this past weekend.  This team comprised of BUSA 95 and BUSA 94 Elite players went undefeated in group play, in route to the finals where they lost 2-1 to a very strong Carmel United team from Indianapolis.  These girls had a great weekend, and got to play against some great competition!

Congratulations are in order for the BUSA 95 Elite and Coach Pete Lianos for their 2nd place finishes at the Concorde Fire and Vulcan Cups in Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL over the past two weekends. With wins over the top teams in Ohio, Georgia and Mississippi, in route to the finals, the boys are really staking claim as one of the top teams in the region. The team is currently in preparation for the Dr. Pepper Dallas Cup, one of the premier youth soccer tournaments in the world. With the teams recent success over the last few weeks, Coach Pete feels real confident as they head into Dallas Cup to compete against the nations best. The club is very proud of the boys and looks forward to following them over the course of the season.

The BUSA 96 Elite Girls punched their ticket early to the Region III Championship this summer by winning the Premier League Central U14 girl’s title.

Congratulations to those selected to the Alabama Youth Soccer (ODP)Olympic Development Program.

Fradenburg led his team to a 5-0 victory over visiting Miami FC Kendall on Saturday, scoring four goals on the day. Fradenburg now has 10 goals in 12 games this season and is listed among the top ten goal scorers in the Academy Program among active teams. Birmingham United(BUSA)is currently tied for 1st place in the Southeast division of the South Conference with a 6-1-3 record.

FRISCO, Texas (November 9, 2009) – Rosters are announced for the annual US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) Girls Thanksgiving Interregional. Games will be played at the North Community Park and Coral Glades High School Sportsplex in Coral Springs, Fla. Teams will compete Nov. 22-27.
