INTRAMURAL RULES

BUSA Intramural Soccer Rules of Play

U6 Game Day Rules (3 v 3)

• 4 (10 min) quarters Swap fields at half time if team is split into 2 games

• Game started by free kick at the center of the field

• Restart of play will be a coach putting a ball back into play (2nd half of the season we will start kick in and goal kicks)

• All players must play at least half of every game

• Substitute players at stop of play

• No Goalies

• No penalty kicks

• Teams and parents on opposite side of fields

U7 Game Day Rules (4 v 4)

• 4 (12 min) quarters

• Game started by free kick at the center of the field

• Restart of play will be throw- ins and goal kicks and corner kicks

• All players must play at least half of every game

• Substitute players at stop of play. Must notify ref before substituting a players

• Goalie must be rotated out every quarter and wear a vest to distinguish from other players

• No penalty kicks

• Teams and parents are on opposite side of fields

U8 Game Day Rules (4 v 4)
