BUSA Announces Mike Dowling as BUSA Alabaster Director!

BUSA announces that Mike Dowling will be taking the helm as the BUSA Alabaster Branch Director. Mike will be a wonderful addition to our program and someone we think will help take the program to new heights. He is a tremendous worker who takes great pride in his work and communication and will thrive taking ownership of the BUSA Alabaster Program. Mike will start working immediately and will be planning the coming tryout season. He will be in touch with all coaches, teams, and players in the next few weeks.

Mike can be reached at [email protected]

Mike will replace Jay Hammond who served with great distinction and was a great ambassador in launching the BUSA Alabaster Program. Jay will continue to work with BUSA in the ECNL Program and as the Head Coach for the Alabama FC WPSL team. We appreciate and are grateful for all of the hard work Jay put into the program and looking forward to watching him grow coaching in the ECNL this coming season.

A quote from Mike Dowling:

“I grew up in Liverpool England where I played for a number of professional academies such as Liverpool and Blackburn Rovers before making the Morecambe FC team in League Two. I came over to America to earn my college degree and played four years at Chowan University. I moved to Alabama to pursue my master’s degree and coaching career at Montevallo University.

During my time in America, I have had the opportunity to coach high school soccer, club soccer, Coerver coaching, and college soccer.”
