Montevallo Soccer Club is now being managed by BUSA
BUSA is proud to be the managing partner for Montevallo Soccer, and we are excited to offer our services and programs to the Montevallo and surrounding residents. Initially many of the programs will be similar and much of the soccer structure will stay relatively the same. Our goal is to grow the club and add many new training and developmental opportunities for the players. In addition, we want to provide a “total soccer” atmosphere to Montevallo Soccer which is the recreational component, and the competitive component through Alabaster Competitive.
Please take time to review the information below, and be sure to register your child for the Fall. We are looking forward to a fun and enjoyable season.
INTRODUCING
THE LEGION FC EXPERIENCE
Birmingham United Soccer Association and Legion FC have entered into a partnership agreement.
As part of the Legion FC Experience, All registered recreational Alabaster players may Opt-In for the following:
- 4 Season Tickets to the Legion FC home games. (Games Thru July 1)
- Field access at Protective Stadium before and/or after Legion FC games on dates selected by Legion FC;
- Attendance at the Legion FC clinic at Protective Stadium with Legion FC coaches and players;
- A ten percent (10%) discount on Legion FC merchandise
- A Legion FC / BUSA/AFC co-branded t-shirt;
All the above will be available at the following substantially discounted “opt” in rate: $30.00 per recreational player.

- Coaches are needed for all age groups. (Please indicate at Registration.)
Note: All players will be placed in their appropriate age groups. Playing up in age group will be allowed, and is chosen in the registration process. Play-downs in age ONLY if approved by the Recreational Director, must email director.
ALL PLAYERS PAY REGISTRATION FEES BASED ON TRUE AGE. NO REFUNDS OR EXTRA PAYMENTS REQUIRED.

U5 – U15 – $110 (Born August 1, 2009 – July 31, 2022)
All Players will purchase a full uniform kit for additional $25. This includes 2 jerseys, shorts, and socks. These can be worn for multiple seasons.

Registration Information
PLAYER REGISTRATION
All U6-U14 players need to order full uniform kit in their registration for player at $25. This uniform is worn for several seasons, you do not need to order or pay every season.

Intramural Soccer
This program is for U5-U8 players, born Aug 1, 2018 – July 31, 2022
Practices are scheduled for weeknights, Mon-Fri. U6 and U7 are once per week, u8 is twice per week.
Field locations is the Montevallo Orr Park Fields
Games are Saturday mornings, 8:30, 9:45, and 11:00 am.
Uniform Kit is purchased by parents online, $25 for kit, 2 jerseys, shorts and socks. If you have a uniform from last season you do NOT need to order again.
Practices are to be held at the Orr Park Fields. Time Slots are 5:30 – 7:00 pm. Coaches can start anytime but finish by dark.
U6 – One Practice – One Hour
U7 – One Practice – One Hour, 15 Minutes
U8 – Two Practices – One hour, 15 minutes
COACHES MEETING IS Wednesday, August 19, at 6:00 PM AT THE HEARDMONT PARK SENIOR CENTER.
Games begin on September 12, 2026, and are played on Saturday mornings.

Rec Soccer U9-U18
This program is for U9 – U18 players, born Aug 1, 2007 – July 31, 2018.
Practices are scheduled for twice a week, coaches will select day and times. Announced asap.
COACHES MEETING – Wednesday, August 12, at 6:00 pm at the Heardmont Park Senior Center. 5452 Cahaba Valley Rd.
Field locations are all at the Orr Park Fields.
Games are scheduled by the Champions League Scheduler on Saturdays, and possible Sunday afternoons.
