Fast Footwork

Fast Footwork I

–       Player will place a single foot in between each cone to finish at the end with a save

–       Make sure that the hands are in an athletic stance

–       Make sure to keep the body center going through the cones

–       Repeat 4 times

Fast Footwork II

–       Player will place two feet in between each cone to finish at the end with a save

–       Keep body centered

–       Make sure that the athletic stance stays throughout the drill

–       Repeat 4 times

Fast Footwork III

–       Player will shuffle in and out of cones to finish at the end with a save

–       Knees need to be bent

–       Frame staying tight

–       Keeping body completely centered

–       Repeat 4 times

Fast Footwork IV

–       Player will face sideways to the ball

–       Player will put to feet into between the cones to make sure that they are moving forward each time

–       At the finish the player will end with a save

o   Important to make sure that the hips get turned in time to receive the save cleanly

–       Make sure to keep the body under control

–       Repeat 2 with facing with the left foot first and 2 with the right foot first

Fast Footwork V

–       Same as Fast Footwork I only facing backwards

–       Once the player comes to the end he/she will drop step

–       Open the hips

–       End with a save

–       Repeat 4 times

–       Same as Fast Footwork III only backwards

–       Once the player comes to the end he/she will drop step

–       Open the hips

–       End with a save

–       Repeat 4 times
